Another birthday has come and gone--you turned 7 a couple of weeks ago.
We had a family party with all your brothers and sister.  You got lots of gifts and dad had a pinata filled with lots of candy and money.  We let you have the first swing and you broke it wide open.
You love to read and you go through several books each day.  One of your favorite places to go is the library.
You love to play sports.  Soccer is your current favorite.  You also like to play tetherball on our pole at home. Hockey with your brothers is fun and "knee hockey" inside. (They made up a game with spatulas and spoons and tennis balls.  I didn't have any kitchen utinsels for years)  You like to play Nintendo and Gameboy.  You also like to play Air Hockey when you can get one of us to play--You always beat me.
You like primary and you have a sweet little testimony that you bear sometimes.  You like to read the Friend Magazine and do the puzzles in it.  You asked and asked for your own set of scriptures that you like to read in.
You also love to learn about all kinds of animals.  When you get to the library the first place you head is to the nonfiction section where you get an arm load of books on bugs, snakes, sharks, etc.  And you read them all!  You also like your Ranger Rick Magazine.(that your big brother got for you)
You are a lovey-dovey guy.  You love to give kisses and hugs and to snuggle.  You miss (your big sister) Michelle alot since she got married and you always greet her with hugs and kisses.  You still love to be tucked in at night and have someone pat you on the back.  You also beg to be told a story.
You can be helpful when you want to be, but can be a bit of a tyrant.  (Are we a little spoiled?)  But we love you and are happy to spoil you, (unfortunately).
This next year could be a little tough for you.  Some of your surgeries and some work on your teeth are going to take place.   The last couple of years you've had chronic ear infections which has been no fun and we had to have tubes put in your ears again.  The gunk that is always in your ears has made it hard for you to hear and they have hurt alot.  But you hardly ever complain and have been so patient.  We just love you so much and are so proud of you!
