The title for this blog came from a quote by Henry B. Eyring. He was talking about how we pass our legacy heart to heart. I like the idea that as we interact with each other, important things are passed heart to heart. It's true!

Troy Sept. 30, 1995
After his first surgery to close the cleft lip. He did so well after his surgery. He only had to stay one night in the hospital and then got to come home. He had to wear splints on his arms for 2 weeks so that he couldn't get his hands to his mouth to pull out the stitches. It took two of us to bathe him because when we took off the splints one of us had to hold his arms to keep his hands away from his face. And it took two of us to get his medicines into him. He usually screamed the whole time--poor thing--I'm sure he thought we were being so mean to him. He immediately began to gain lots more weight because he could eat so much more easily.
